Light's Realm~ Empty
PostSubject: Light's Realm~   Light's Realm~ I_icon_minitimeTue Aug 23, 2011 7:13 pm

It was a place of wonder and stunning beauty. Any soul that entered the realm would instantly be struck by a powerful sense of awe. Tendrils of light would wrap up anyone who entered Roshan's realm and wipe clean the darkness that plagued them.

The door to the realm was not like any door you might be used to seeing--Rather, it was a portal. Quite a large circle of bright light with a circle of black in the center, the colours constantly changed and moved in a swirl that mixed colour with colour. It floated connected by nothing, and what lay behind the other side of the portal was unknown.

From that very portal stepped a woman into the realm. She did not fall on her face or even stumble gracefully; Stepping out or in the portal was as simple as entering a door.

The woman was not very tall, nor was she very short. One would say she was in the middle of being short and tall--A medium height. The woman had a slim body. Her legs were long and slender, leading up to a pair of curving hips and a flat stomach. A voluptuous chest was set atop her stomach and a gold birthmark shaped like the sun could be seen on the top of her left breast. Elegant shoulders were attached to thin arms and at the end were elegant hands with long fingers, crystal-blue nails that were about 2 inches long, and sharp, glittered in the light.

The woman's hair was as long as to reach her very ankles. It fluttered and moved gently with every movement she made. Her hair seemed to be made of light itself; Glowing and drawing any surrounding light to itself, it had hues of the rainbow all over her hair, constantly changing. One would compare her hair to the appearance of a bubble. Her hair was extremely silky, slipping through fingers like cool water. Her hair parted at the top to reveal a heart-shaped face with large eyes gazing steadily forward.

One could also compare her eyes to that of a bubble; Like her hair, her eyes glowed brilliantly and stole the light. The beauty of her eyes was startling, even frightening. In the center of those big eyes was the ying-yang symbol rather than a normal black pupil, and a ring of blue circled the symbol, followed by another ring of pink, another of yellow, green, purple, and so on and so forth did all the shades of all the colours circle the symbol to the very corners of her eyes. Long eyelashes fanned out around her eyes, changing from bright colour to the next whenever they pleased. The tiny button nose and largeness of her eyes gave her a sort of innocence, but her full, tantalizing lips opposed that innocence. Like her eyelashes, her lips changed colour whenever they pleased and made her appear to have changed her lipstick either every few seconds, minutes, or even hours. Presently her lips were a nice shade of pink that went well with her caramel-coloured skin, and that skin seemed to hold a glow of its own in the very center of her body.

The woman wore a small top made of silk and the purest of white; It did not have a bottom, exposing her stomach and back, and the lining was silver, like the thin straps that would slip down her shoulders every now and then. Her skirt was made of that same silky material and that same bright white with silver lining and a slit up to her right thigh. A light pink leg garter with black lace was visible on her right thigh. Her crystal-blue shoes matched her nails and the heel was quite tall--They almost looked dangerous. Silver straps criss-crossed and wrapped around her legs up to just below the knee. Two silver bangles were cool against her upper right arm, and another pair of silver bangles on her left forearm. Starting from the back of her right hip was a silver intricate pattern that swirled and curled elegantly to her belly-button. A crystal-blue flower sat in the woman's hair, on the right side of her head.

Roshan stepped forward and began walking calmly down the path that would lead her to her chambers. The path she was walking on was translucent, collecting light, but you could see right through it and inside, floating about and bumping into each other but yet not popping, were large bubbles. They gave the pathway colour, and with each step of Roshan's clicking heels a ripple fanned out in several rings before melting away.

There were also creatures in the pathway with all the bubbles. They appeared to look like fish, but they couldn't be; No normal fish on the Earth could look the way they did. They were long and they were thin with elegant fins and tails. The fish were translucent, so you could see their colourful organs and bones that also shared the appearance of a bubble. Every set of eyes for every fish had the ying-yang symbol in them, and at night the fish would light up and glow, like fireflies. There were other creatures that looked like the fish: Eels and snakes, snails and frogs. They all lived peacefully among each other, swimming about the pathway. If they so wished to not swim in the pathway, those creatures could swim to the ocean that was to the left of the pathway and follow the second path that led to the beach.

From where Roshan was walking, she could see the ocean and its gentle waves. It was of the prettiest of colours one could ever imagine; It sparkled and it glowed, and it held a mysterious beauty for the all the creatures living in harmony in that ocean had the exact appearance of sea animals that were on the Earth, but they had the same appearance as the fish in the pathway. No matter how many times the waves rolled onto the sand, the sand stayed undisturbed. Like the ocean, it was a mix of brilliant colours: Over there it was pink, but opposite that side the sand was blue. It sparkled and glittered, and the scent the wind brought with it from the ocean and the sand was so deliciously fruity one would begin to drool.

The second path that swerved gently off to the left from the first disappeared into the waves, but you could walk along a third path that turned right from the second. Following that third path would bring you around the beach with sand on the left side of the path and healthy green grass on the right. Tiny creatures of gold light flitted and played about in the sand and in the grass that stretched all the way back to the first path and beyond. They moved too fast for their bodies to truly be visible, but they seemed to be little faeries of beautiful light with fluttering wings.

The third path climbed up a hill and it was now surrounded by flowers that swayed with the breeze. These flowers looked like ordinary flowers: There were roses and violets, lilies and orchards--Any and all type of flowers were on that hill. But unlike those ordinary flowers, the flowers on the hill were edible. They would taste like Skittles and Starburst, and the scent they gave off was similar to the smell of the cereal, Fruity Pebbles. The scent of the flowers on the hill would be carried on the wind to the ocean and mix with the scent of the beach.

The third path continued to lead up a second hill with more flowers, and finally it ended at a third hill that was quite high up and overlooked the gentle waves of the sea.

There, on that third hill, was one of Roshan's favourite places to relax and think.

A mystical place, that third hill was. A tall tree that was a pure white stood on the hill. The leaves of the tree varied from colour to colour, and they constantly fell gently to the grassy ground of the hill. The leaves would disintegrate into the ground once they landed and the cycle would repeat.

A pearl-white rock was set into the hill. It was large and smooth, and one could use it for a seat to watch the rolling waves beneath their swinging feet. It curved so that the rock was round, and to make sure you wouldn't fall into the ocean, you would have to be careful to sit in the exact center of the green plant that was growing on the rock. The leaves of the plant were huge, long and soft, and they draped over the edges of the rock.

The plants were most peculiar on the top of that hill. Some were circular and glowed various colours, and those plants hung in the air from long branches that were a glacier-green. Those branches stretched from the ground into the air and then hung over the rock like lamps in a room. Along those branches were tiny balls of light that hung from nothing. There were other plants; Plants that looked like mushrooms, but they had intricate designs and glowed like a black light; There were plants that looked like tubes hanging from the branches and they glowed like glowsticks only at night; There were three tall stems that were thick and matched the branches. Those stems were spaced apart from each other, but what attached them was a vine with those balls of light hanging suspended in the air. On top of each stem was what appeared to be a ball of colourful flame, dancing and licking at the sky but never setting fire to its surroundings.

About twenty of those stems with those dancing balls of flame led off into the ocean and vanished because it was too far for the naked eye to see. On the opposite side of the rock were twenty of those stems, twenty of those dancing flames, and the vines with the balls of light connected each.

From that stone you could look up into the sky and watch the clouds which had its own colour. Some days there were no clouds and you could stare up at the vast expanse of the prettiest of blue skies there ever was. There were also several suns hanging in the sky; That morning Roshan had only three suns in the sky and each had a different colour: One was yellow, another orange, and the third was red. Roshan would change the colours of the suns daily and the amount of how many suns would be keeping the sky company. Sometimes she would simply have no sun at all and allow her realm to be lit by other means.

At night the sky would become a blanket of black, but the stars were so brilliantly bright that one would have nothing to fear during the hours of the night. Roshan would also change how many moons there would be every night, and like the sun, on some nights there wouldn't be any moon at all. However, she left the stars a dazzling white rather than change up their colour.

On some nights Roshan would have a light show up in the sky. It would be a splatter of colours mixing and moving, forming shapes and faces on their own. Sometimes it was a lightning storm of rainbow colours; Other nights she would have shooting stars racing over the sky. It depended on the mood she was in that night how the light show would turn out.

Roshan hummed softly under her breath and continued the walk down the path, the ripples following each soft click of her heels.

Off the right a path swerved gently and led to a circular building. The building only had one floor with a domed ceiling, and it was translucent with the bubbles floating and bumping inside its walls. The floor, however, was different. It was made of marble and it was a pearly pink, and the floor was so clean that you could see your reflection perfectly. In the center of the room was a circle made of stone and inside there was dirt. The trunk of a thin white tree grew there and leaned to the side at a strange angle. Three thin branches split off in their own direction, reaching up to the domed ceiling, and the leaves were fluffy, a pink that reminded one of cherry blossom trees, and there were many of those leaves.

There was no door to this room, but an arch that gave you little glimpses of the tree inside. Situated here and there around the room were chairs made of white marble. Their backs were high, the cushions a soft blue, and next to each chair was an instrument. There was a violin next to one; a guitar next to the other; a cello, a flute, and so on did the instruments vary with each chair. A marble white piano sat across from the entrance so that the tree was in the middle of the piano and the entrance.

That room was used when Roshan would either have guests in her realm or if she simply wanted some music to listen to. She would summon humanoid figures that were made of light and had the ying-yang eyes, and they would play the instruments. Roshan herself would join in and play the piano, but that only happened on rare occasions.

There were flowers on the right side of the path, near and far from the music room, and they were like the flowers on the hill. There were the strange plants here and there, the vines drooping gracefully from the stems and the balls of fire. There were small mushrooms and there were huge mushrooms that were bigger than the size of a car. It was a wonderland on that side of the path; A mystical forest with delicious scents, rainbows, and it looked very inviting to explore. However, one would be foolish to explore the forest that surrounded the music room and stretched on so far you could not see where the end was.

Roshan knew that the forest was a maze itself; She had been the one to create it. It was a beautiful maze, one with scents that tantalized and light that seemed comforting. It was also a dangerous maze. One could easily get lost in that forest and not all the pretty glowing fruits and plants were harmless. Some were poisonous while others were like the Venus Fly Trap plant. Not to mention all the wild animals in there.

There were tigers and panthers, lions and cheetahs, monkeys and birds of all types--It was like the Amazon Rainforest. Those wild animals were like the sea creatures, though; Their fur and skin were translucent, and their organs and bones looked like bubbles, and their ying-yang eyes could see whatever they wished. They were friendly, but they were also wild and should not be trusted. Only Roshan could walk among that forest and not be attacked.

The first path started to wind around a second room. This room was square with the same translucent walls, bubbles, and when you touched the walls, they would ripple like the pathway. This room was a decent-sized room with a square door that a path of marble stones led you to. There was no need for windows when the walls of every building in Roshan's realm were translucent.

Inside that first room it seemed it was a regular living room. The floor was made of marble the colour of light orange. To the left of the room was a sofa in a half circle; The sofa looked comfortable and plush, a soft pink with light blue pillows placed in a row on the couch. Directly in front of the couch was a 1O2 inch television that hung from the wall. A light green rug, rectangle-shaped and soft, lay underneath the television and clear, rectangular glass coffee table. The table had a single flower in a vase in the center, the remote to its left and a stack of books to its right.

Opposite that end of the room was a marble fireplace with two glass bookcases on either side and sitting in front of those bookcases were two recliner chairs that were both lavender. They were at an angle so that if you sat in them, you would face the fire and feel the heat dancing all over your body.

There were glass tables that were circular and small placed around the room. Some had more flowers on the top while others had books in a neat stack; Another table had tiny stone statues; And another table had a modern phone.

A second door led to stairs that were of the same material as the walls and they led up to a second room that seemed to float in the air, like the stairs did. It was off to the right of the first room, not directly above it but beside it and in the air. This room had to be the dining room because there was a single table in the center. The table was big and long, like a rectangle, and it was a mix of colours. The table seemed to float in the air and drip its very colour like paint onto the ground from the edges and corners. When the paint hit the floor it simply vanished. There were about eight chairs on each side of the table that were like the table itself, floating and dripping paint. Nothing had been set on the table yet. At the end of the room, next to the door that would lead to yet another staircase, was a glass cabinet with many dishes, glasses, and utensils inside. They were all white, shiny and clean.

The stairs yet again led to a room floating in the air. This room was over the first, beside the second to the left of it, and floating in the air. When you would take the stairs to this room, you would be able to see down into the dining room and the living room. This room was the kitchen, and yet another door led to more stairs which led to a fourth room. That room was Roshan's study, and finally there was only one door left that led to the last staircase. That last staircase led to Roshan's bedroom which only she herself was allowed in. Her bedroom was also the only room that had a bathroom.

However, Roshan continued to walk down the pathway and she did not glance at the strange building with the translucent, rainbow rooms that zig-zagged up into the sky.

Here, behind Roshan's home the path continued and several other paths led to other places in the realm. One of those paths led to an arrangement of tall buildings that reached up into the sky and stabbed it with the tips of the towers. The buildings were round, the walls like those of the other rooms in the realm, and starting from the ground up were stairs like the ones at Roshan's home. Those stairs circled the buildings to the very tippy-top, and one could see doors next to those stairs for each room--There were 7 rooms in total, so there were 7 doors for each of the 7 floors. Those buildings--There were little over 15 of them--were for her guests when they wished to spend the night.

Another path led to a large gazebo with white benches, vines and flowers growing on the columns and railing. Around that gazebo was a type of garden with all sorts of plants and flowers. There were marble statues of strange creatures, stone benches, and a tree as large as the towering buildings for her guests. That tree was an exact replica of the tree on the third hill; The rainbow leaves were much larger and rather than crush someone by accident when they fell to the ground, about halfway down the leaves would disintegrate in colourful powder.

The path that Roshan had been on since entering her room was coming to an end. At the end was a spiral staircase. Roshan began to walk up that staircase, each stair rippling with every step. It led up and up, in a circle, and if you weren't used to it you'd get seriously dizzy and possibly fall off the staircase for there was not a railing to hold on to.

Roshan reached the top. She was not winded nor dizzy. The top was a large platform in the shape of a square. It had no walls, therefore it had no ceiling. All it had was a single wingbacked chair that was white with yellow cushions and a white desk. On that desk was a black book left open to show the blank white paper and beside it a bottle of ink and quill. A single novel lay beside the ink, and on the opposite side a clear vase with a flower. The flower looked almost like a lamp and it lit up instantly when Roshan touched it with the tip of her finger.

Roshan sat in the chair and tilted her head back to look up at the moving clouds. She then opened the palm of her right hand and a mini sun and moon appeared. Roshan smiled faintly as she spun them and then, with a flick of her fingers, the sun and moon raced each other up into the sky. They burst through the sky of her realm, zig-zagging and swerving through the sky until they reached the other stars. There they stopped their race and became two new stars in the universe over the Earth.
